Microgram Systems (Canada) Ltd. (herein called "MSL") was incorporated in British Columbia since 1991. MSL has been in business for more than 8 years under the current business name.

 

Number of employees

MSL currently employs nine full time and ten part-time employees. MSL has a total of six PC certified technicians, programmers and engineers on board. Moreover, MSL has two Novell CNE and NT contract consultants and a few professional engineers as project consultants. MSL has been providing on-site service for most corporate clients with no more than four hours turn-around time in the lower mainland for trouble calls. MSL is also an authorized service center for NEC and Seanix Computers.

 

Length of time clone and brand name computers have been on the market

MSL has marketed its own brand of clone computer as well as brand name computers over the seven year period that it has been in business. MSL has established a high reputation for its computer systems with product consistency, excellent technical service support, and manufacturer support. MSL has sold hundreds of high performance systems to public utilities, engineering consulting firms, education institution, and large manufacturing companies.

 

Network Reference

We have sold more than ten network servers to B.C. Hydro & Power Authority over the last three years, two servers for NLK Consultants Inc. and Circon Technology Ltd. System Hardware has been successfully configured for Novell Network 3.11, 3.12 , 4.1 & Microsoft NT 3.51 and 4.0 environment. Several hundred systems have been sold for Novell 3.12 & 4.1 environment. Reference will be provided upon request.

 

During the past two years, we have finished four full Network Installation for Kilborn Engineering Ltd., Seaboard Advertising Ltd. , Minolta Business Equipment (Canada) Ltd. and Jastram Engineering Ltd. under Novell 4.1 environment.

 

We have been re-selected by BC. Hydro in June, 1998 as one of the major preffered vendors with a two year standing Purchase Order for IBM , Seanix & NEC computer systems and peripherals.

Other related company information

MSL is associated with its parent company, NewForm Management Services Inc. ("NFM"), to provide a unique turn-key operation for not only PC hardware design and PC workstations setup, but also a complete solution with network installation as well as custom made software applications in both Database and C++ environment. NFM has developed custom software for inventory control and database management for Department of Chemical Engineering, Dental Surgeon, Steam Table, and Heat Recovery & Steam Generation during the past years. It is our future plan to re-develop and convert a few DOS based custom software programs into the Windows environment.
